Our clients often have skills that they bring to the project, and we love to collaborate with them as they add a personal charm to their home.  This client is a wood worker who did all of the finish wood work and cabinetry throughout, allowing The Kastrop Group to embrace and emphasize the beauty of the structure, and create custom details to bring warmth and a special uniqueness to the rooms.  The combination of wood finishes and open spaces gives the rooms a rich character. A full second floor was added to the home with children’s bedrooms and a master suite.  The custom kitchen was designed to be spacious and has a family-centered focus that is driven by the island-bar design and open work areas.
